The trip continues to Ouarzazate – a renown film making location in Morocco. After lunch we continue our journey to the Dades Valley through the Valley of Roses. Here we stay for the night in a small typical Moroccan hotel, enjoy a traditional Moroccan evening meal and have a breakfast with a nice view over the Dades Valley.
Accommodation in private rooms with private bathroom.
After breakfast we depart for the Todra Gorge to enjoy the sights.
We take lunch on our way. The trip continues through Rissani. By approaching Merzouga, we can clearly see the highest dunes in Morocco. We take sunset camel ride through the Dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach our Berber desert camp.

Together with some friends we wanted to explore Morocco in all its diversity: to see the mountains, to experience the desert and enjoy the ocean. After having done some research on internet, we chose Igomorocco, because of the variety of tours they provided and reasonable prices. Igomorocco made a special 10 day itinerary for our group of 6 people. The company took into consideration all our wishes and replied quickly to our questions. We were met at the airport and had a free transfer to our riad. The itinerary started with a sightseeing tour around Marrakech. We had an English speaking guide, who was very professional and provided us with lot of information about the places we visited. The next day we went on the desert tour to Merzouga, crossing the Atlas mountains, driving into the Dades Valley and Todra Gorge. The buss ride was comfortable and we had many stops on the way for pictures. As we arrived to Merzouga, we were caught by a sand storm. Still we decided to trust the experienced camel guides and to take a camel trek to our desert camp, where we spent the night. An amazing experience! The tour continued to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazete (Moroccan Hollywood), Talouine (a place where saffron is grown), Taroudante (a fortified town on a former caravan route), Tiznit (famous for silver jewellery) until we reached the ocean. Visiting Legzira was something unforgettable – the views with natural sea-worn rock archways were breathtaking! On the way back to Marrakech we passed by the surfers’ paradise Taghazout and charming Essaouira. This was a fantastic tour for enjoying the natural wonders of Morocco! From our experience we can definitely recommend Igomorocco for other travelers.
Excellent trip, I will tell everybody to do it if they don't have any problem in travel a lot of kilometers. In my opinion this tour worth each euro that I spent.
Price-value UNBELIEVABLE! 3 Days 2 Nights to Merzouga is definitely worthy! A long way crossing the Atlas but expert driver made it smoothly all the way. For only 87€: 2 breakfast, 2 dinners and 2 nights… and of course, visit a few 'Kasbahs', the experience to ride a camel and to see the plenty-of-stars sky in the desert!
Thank you IGoMorocco!
The dessert tour was amazing, the best of my morocco travel.
I'm María, from Spain. And it was amazing, unforgettable!!! All the trip was fantastic. A little bit long and the road is awful, but it worth it!! If I come back to the desert i will repeat with the same company, cheap and really nice!
Thank you very much for the trip. We all enjoyed it immensely and the guides looked after us very well.
